Rubies in the Rubble
'I picked up this banana ketchup from the @northstarcoffeeshop General Store yesterday and have put it on EVERYTHING I've eaten since (except porridge... but then I did eat a spoonful after my porridge...)
It comes from the lovely @rubiesintherubble; a company who make condiments from food that would otherwise go to waste. There are no nasties added, it comes recommended by people in the know and it tastes bloody delicious. I'm basically planning meals around it today.
Support people fighting waste and add yumminess to your plate: No brainer.' -Instagram Post, July '17
Choices that make sense for you and the planet don't have to be painful. Some of them slot seamlessly into your life (or fridge).
Rubies in the Rubble are a small business that believe in making use of what you've got, valuing the resources available and embracing imperfection (because who cares what shape or size the banana was when it makes DELICIOUS ketchup?)
